Tucked away in South Knoxville is a diamond in the rough - a surprising 20,000 square foot WWII warehouse is now home to some of the finest domestic and exotic lumber in Tennessee and the USA.
Jeffries Wood Works has been in operation since 1987, providing over 150 species of domestic woods, tropical woods, exotic woods, and hardwood veneered plywoods. Scores of luthiers, bowl turners and custom furniture builders from around the country find the finest woods their craft demands. Regularly changing inventory includes woods such as: mahogany, walnut, white oak, aspen, red heart, bocote, ziricote, and black limba. We also have changing inventory of kiln dried live edge slabs, burl wood, and bowl/pen turning stock. Considering the rarity of these woods, please call to confirm availability.
